As part of its commitment to employee well-being and emergency preparedness, PT Biometrik Riset Indonesia conducted a Basic Life Support (BLS) training in collaboration with Sentra Medika Hospital on Wednesday, June 25, 2025. The session was led by dr. M. Arief Kurniawan, Sp.An, FIP, a specialist in anaesthesiology and intensive care. This training reflects the company’s proactive approach in fostering a safety-conscious and responsive work environment. PT Biometrik Riset Indonesia firmly believes that basic life support skills are essential and should be understood by everyone, regardless of profession. After all, emergencies such as cardiac arrest or choking can occur anytime, to anyone — even to those closest to us.
During the session, dr. Arief provided a clear and practical explanation of the Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) procedure, which is a critical emergency action performed when a person suffers from cardiac arrest or respiratory failure. In addition to CPR, the participants were also taught how to handle other emergency conditions such as choking, bleeding, and other urgent situations that may arise in everyday life.
This training serves not only as a form of knowledge transfer but also as a vital reminder of our shared responsibility in safeguarding each other’s lives. By equipping employees with the ability to act decisively in critical moments, PT Biometrik Riset Indonesia reinforces its dedication to health, safety, and care beyond the workplace.
